Dubuque Area Labor-Management Council 2024 Manufacturing Safety Award
The Adams Company is proud to be recognized with the 2024 Manufacturing Employer Safety Honor Award from the Dubuque Area Labor-Management Council alongside Machinist Local 1238. The award acknowledges our team's outstanding 2023 safety record and reinforces our belief that safety is a shared commitment built into every shift, every conversation, and every part we produce.
The honor was announced at the Council's annual awards banquet on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Diamond Jo Casino. Each year, the Council brings together regional labor and management leaders to celebrate organizations and individuals who exhibit excellence in labor-management relations, cooperation, and safety.
Nominees for the safety awards are evaluated based on how well they promote the Council's core values, including trust, responsibility, open communication, and a willingness to adapt. At The Adams Company, these values are part of how we've done business since 1883.
In addition to the company-wide recognition, we're especially proud to celebrate Coalton Olson, who was honored with a Labor-Management Excellence Award for his work representing The Adams Company and Machinist Local 1238. This award highlights individuals who demonstrate leadership in building strong, cooperative relationships between skilled machinists and management. The honor is a meaningful nod to Coalton's daily work of listening, communicating, and showing up with respect for both people and process.
